I would like to say thanks to the Pride BCN Toastmasters club for giving me the opportunity to learn in such a positive environment.
The spirit of the club is to help each other, and above all, to learn no matter how low your starting point is.

I love Toastmasters because is a great methodology learn-by-doing workshop in which participants practice their speaking and leadership skills in a very nice atmosphere.

As a member of a Toastmasters club I have the opportunity to present speeches in Spanish and performing leadership roles in a friendly, inspiring and supportive club environment.

Public speaking is the single most effective way I know to boost your confidence and self esteem yet is one of the most feared experiences. My decision to join Toastmaster club is to put the fear of speaking in public behind me. It has been my interest to be able to stand in front of many people and speak without fear. I believe that my decision to become a member of BCN PrideToastmaster club is one of the best decision I have ever made. Now is your turn !!!

I’m thoroughly enjoying being part of BCN Pride Toastmaster. My primary objective was to improve my public speaking skills both in English and in Spanish. I actually get much more out of it: It has forced me to improving my personal preparation skills and I’ve received valuable constructive feedback from friendly yet high caliber fellow Toastmasters. For me, the best part is meeting up with interesting and interested people week after week and building strong friendships. My recommendation to any newcomer: 'You’re entitled to come as a guest 3 times before joining. Use it!'

BCN Pride Toastmasters is a group that radiates positive energy, dynamism and confidence.
Getting up to speak in front of an audience, any audience, is a daunting task that can bring most people to a standstill. Being able to meet together, face that fear and practice our speaking skills is both a pleasure and a learning experience. As Pilar so rightly says, all you need to do is come every Thursday!!

A wonderful educational and social experience filled with many growth lessons and great people. BCN Pride Toastmasters is helping me expand my verbal communication skills. When I joined the club I wasn't afraid of public speaking, I'd already had experience lecturing, but I still had some nervousness specially when I had to speak in English, and I had a lot to learn in regards to technique. I strongly advice any one to visit the club meetings and see for himself/herself

At the beginning I have joined mainly with the aim to improve my public speaking skills. Now, although this is still my objective, the regular meetings with the club members have also become a source of inspiration and enrichment.
